Microsoft has officially launched Copilot Pro, a new version of its AI tool for Office that offers advanced features to consumers. The service, available at a cost of $20 per month, allows users to generate PowerPoint presentations, rephrase text, generate new content, and analyze data within Office applications.
Copilot Pro is compatible with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.com. Customers who already have a Microsoft 365 Personal or Home subscription can access Copilot Pro for an additional $20 per month per person.
In addition to the features integrated into Office, Copilot Pro also provides access to the latest OpenAI models, enhancements to the image creation tool Designer (formerly Bing Image Creator), and the ability to create their own Copilot GPT.
For those who are not subscribed to Microsoft 365, a standalone Copilot Pro subscription can be purchased to gain priority access to GPT-4 Turbo and improved image creation features.
Microsoft introduced this new offering to meet the demands of its more experienced users who wanted quicker access to the latest models and advanced features. The company also announced that Copilot Pro will continue to evolve with the addition of new features.
In parallel, Microsoft has expanded the availability of Copilot for Microsoft 365 to business users, removing the limit of 300 users per company. Now, all businesses can subscribe to Copilot for Microsoft 365 at a cost of $30 per month per user.
Copilot Pro and Copilot for Microsoft 365 represent a significant step in the development of artificial intelligence applied to business and productivity applications. These solutions allow users to harness the power of AI to enhance their productivity and creativity.
