The new Miss America 2024 is Madison Marsh, a 22-year-old Air Force pilot. Marsh won the competition on January 14, 2024, beating out 50 other contestants.

Marsh was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and grew up in a military family. Her father is an Air Force colonel, and her mother was a teacher. Marsh always wanted to follow in her father's footsteps and become an Air Force pilot.

The Loss of Her Mother

When Marsh was just 17 years old, her mother passed away from pancreatic cancer. Her mother's death was a difficult time for Marsh, but it also motivated her to live her life to the fullest.

"My mother's death made me realize that life is short and we need to make the most of it," Marsh said in an interview. "I want to use my Miss America platform to inspire others to chase their dreams and never give up, even when things are tough."

Her Goals as Miss America

As Miss America, Marsh will be committed to promoting education, public service, and body positivity. She also wants to use her platform to raise awareness about pancreatic cancer.

"Pancreatic cancer is a devastating disease that affects too many people," Marsh said. "I want to use my voice to raise awareness about the illness and raise funds for research."

Madison Marsh is a strong and determined woman who embodies beauty and strength. Her story is an inspiration to all, and I'm sure she will accomplish great things as Miss America.

Some of her specific goals as Miss America include:

Visiting schools and communities to speak about the importance of education and public service. Working with organizations that help people affected by pancreatic cancer. Promoting body positivity and self-acceptance.

Marsh is an extraordinary woman who has the potential to make a positive impact on many people's lives.
